Selecting a Well Contractor:
If you are building a new home or replacing an existing water supply, the hiring of a water well professional is perhaps one of your most important decisions. Selecting the right contractors is somewhat like searching for a new doctor or dentist; ask your neighbors who they would recommend and take the time to learn more and find the right provider. An experienced water well professional is your best guarantee of a good supply of clean drinking water.
Visit our “Contact Us” page for an estimate or service work request.
Other Services: Water Quality Laboratory
GWDI Laboratory was established in June of 2004 to assist our customer base that are concerned with drinking water quality. Our laboratory holds NELAP (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program) licensing for "Certified" results in both Vermont and New Hampshire for Total Coliform and E. coli bacteria.
The laboratory also offers a line of sample testing with “Non-Certified” results for a set of parameters which give you a basic idea of your water quality and explain most of the common odors, tastes and stains which you might experience.
Visit our “Water Quality Testing Lab” page for sampling and testing options.
Other Services: Heat With Geothermal
We now offer an alternative option to heat your home or building project whether it be new concstruction or retro-fitting an existing home. Go to our "Geothermal" page to learn how you can utilize the ground temperature in your yard (50-52°F) to create 125°F hydronic [radiant] heat or up to 140°F forced air heat for your project.
Forced air systems have the capability of offering A/C in the summer with no additional equipment, and are very easy to retro-fit.
Hydronic systems offer a quieter, steady heat but require additional equipment if you want A/C.
This technology cannot work with baseboard water heat. Baseboard water requires 160-180°F temperature water to create convection to spread heat out into the room; since this technology only makes a maximum of 125°F, it cannot be used as a direct replacement. Customers with BBHW often consider a renovation project to replace the flooring at the same time (convert to radiant) or consider a forced air retro-fit.
